1.

Overview

White Mage starts the game as Conjurer at level 1 and becomes White Mage at level 30 upon doing the jobquest "Seer Folly" at level 30. This guide will start at level 15, the lowest level you can be synced to by adungeon. Remember to stay up to date with your Conjurer and White Mage job questswhile leveling, as most job quests from level 30 to 70 will unlock a new action. After level 70, job quests are fullyoptional, but you will need to do role quests to receive your White Mage job gear.

2.

Gearing While Leveling

It is important as every job to stay up to date on gear while leveling, butthis is especially true on tanks and healers, such as White Mage. You cangenerally just use the highest item level healer gear you have - do not worryabout substats at this point. Healer gear can be identified by the presence ofthe Mind stat, and many pieces of it will have the suffix "of Healing." Use the"Equip Recommended Gear" button in the Character menu to quickly equip yourhighest item level gear.At the level cap for each previous expansion (50, 60, 70, 80) you can purchasesubstantial upgrades for Allagan Tomestones of Poetics, sold by Rowena'sRepresentative in major cities, always close to the city's main Aetheryte.

Dungeon Gameplay

In a dungeon, the main challenge is keeping a tank alive during big pulls. Athigher levels, this can feel easy due to your large amount of healing tools, but it can be a struggle at lower levels when you only have a fraction of your kit.

6.1.

Dungeon Trash Pulls

  • Use White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (104) Afflatus Solace between packs to chargeWhite Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (105) Afflatus Misery.
  • Use White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (106) Afflatus Solace or White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (107) Afflatus Rapture between packs to charge White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (108) Afflatus Misery.
  • Use White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (109) Regen on the tank while they are pullingto keep them healthy while they gather mobs.
  • Use White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (110) Divine Benison and White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (111) Regen on thetank while they are pulling to keep them healthy while they gather mobs.

  • Use White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (120) Holy III as your filler on mobs once theyare gathered.

6.2.

Healing in Trash Pulls

Try to exhaust oGCD options before GCDs, and use available Lily heals before other GCD heals.Make sure to use White Mage Leveling Guide - Endwalker 6.5 (121) Asylum for single-target healing if needed, although it is better used on AoE healing it is great for tank sustain in mob pulls.

If you use a 60 second cooldown at the beginning of a pull, it should come back up atsome point during the next pull, depending on how fast the run is going. 90 and 120 second cooldowns willgenerally not be up again until after the next boss, so do not blow all of them on the very first pull.Try to not use long cooldowns towards the end of aboss fight, since trash pulls require significantly more healing.

6.3.

Boss Fights, Trials, and Raids

In general, follow the single-target damage priority listed above. Normal trials, raids, and dungeon bosses typically require a lot less focused healing than dungeon pulls, and often times thehealing can be covered entirely by oGCDs, so you will spend a lot more time doing damage without needing to worry about healing. The mechanics are harder and more punishing than mob pulls, so make sure to pay attention!

Tanks typically need a lot less focused healing in trials and raids than indungeons, but they will still usually need some upkeep, so do not forget them. Most of the healing in trials and raids is AoE party healing as opposed totank healing.
